How do I restore all of my yahoo bookmarks I just lost by "upgrading" my yahoo bookmarks?

I was very disappointed to find that all of the bookmarks I've collected over the years were lost when I upgraded my yahoo bookmarks. Was this part of the plan?

The same thing happened to me and after a few days of trying everything under the sun here is what I ended up doing - because nothing else worked. 1) I uninstalled the beta version of yahoo toolbar. 2) I went to my yahoo and re-organized all my bookmarks into folders including a misc. folder (I did this because I noticed that on the older versions of the toolbar you no longer could add bookmarks from the main bookmark dropdown buttons BUT you could still do it from within dropdown box folders) 3) I went to the follow address and re-downloaded the last version toolbar I had; http://www.download.com/Yahoo-Toolbar-with-Anti-Spy/3000-12768_4-10611428.html and there you go. To add to your bookmarks simply open the bookmarks dropdown menu, select a folder and then click the "add bookmark to..." option. Hope this helps. I know I'm MUCH happier now that the BETA version is off. O and btw, I tried contacting the yahoo help people and after a week and 3 answers that in no way answered my query, I gave up. So I think they simply do not have an answer to the problem yet.
