Can you have the new toolbar along with IE 6?

Y toolbar has tabs-so will you choose to stay with IE 6 and toolbar or move to IE 7?

  • IE 7 has tabbed browsing and that is why I was going to use it, but when I installed the Y toolbar I got tabbed browsing. I'm happy with it, but I wanted to know what other people was planning to do, or had already done. Thanks in advance for your answers. :)

    I'm happy with IE6. I don't want to change anything over that I do not know what I'm doing or in for. So I'm just going to stay where I'm at with IE6. MJ

The tabbed browsing on the Yahoo toolbar is old and antiquated compared to those on IE 7. In IE 7 you can establish up to 6 Hompages that come up on tabs when you open the browser. You can group tabs and save the group in a folder in the Favorites. Then you can go to that folder and with one click open all the tabs in that folder on the browser. IE 7 doesn't have problems. It is the most problem free browser available. If you choose to stay with IE 6, you are the loser. IE 7 is much better.

I may regret it, but I'm staying with IE6. There are too many problems with IE7. So far IE6 has always been safe for me. I installed IE7 a couple of months ago and couldn't find anything, including my Outlook Express mail box, so I went back and un-installed IE7.

I'm not changing. I've heard of too many people who went back after changing. I'll wait until there's a version 8, then maybe go to 7.

I've been using IE7 for several weeks now and have had no problems with it. The tabbed browsing is nice. Some features have definitely moved around compared to IE6, so it might take you a few minutes to find your way around. The security improvements in IE7 are definitely a bigger reason to upgrade than the tabbed browsing.

I moved to 7, and I like it. :-) 6 just stopped working right. It wouldn't find Links, and had alot of errors.
