How do I export bookmarks to file?

• Are your Y! Bookmarks scrambled after the Yahoo "Update" ? Here is the solution: 1. Export them as html. 2. Then Import this map to Firefox Bookmarks. 3. Open FFOX Bookmarks and Rightclick this map and click "Sort by name" Thereafter put them in the FFOX Bookmarks Toolbar and you have them again in ONE file. To open the Bookmarks via the Yahoo Toolbar is just unfeasible. They are spread over 10 pages !! On which page was that bookmark I was trying to open ? Anything else but convenient. I have used Yahoo for years and loved it. Had about 200 bookmarks in the MyYahoo homepage. But after this so called "Upgrade" with all bookmarks scrambled I say Good bye to Yahoo unless they rethink.

  Yahoo is telling users to install the toolbar but your experience shows that doesn't always help. Post your solution on suggestions.yahoo.com where there are 3 discussions about bookmarks. No one should have to "import" and "export" to use a feature like bookmarks (altho your workaround is excellent). Yahoo offers free accounts to attract a broad swath of users... not just experienced users who know what html means. Yahoo usually understands this concept. One user said that Yahoo's goal is to have everyone use Favorites instead of bookmarks.
