How do you delete http: addresses on your Address Toolbar?

  • My daughter has added loads of her addresses whilst her machine was being repaired and I would like to delete them when she gets hers back...thanks

  • Answer:

If you don't mind losing yours as well you can remove them all by going to tools > internet options > browsing history > delete You can choose to delete your history, cookies, forms etc from here.

I don't know if you can do it on mass but if you click on the search bar until the drop down list is exposed you can run down the list until you get to the one you wish to delete and then press delete.

The only way I know is to click "Tools" on the bar at the top of the page then "Internet Options" then "Efface or Remove History", This will rub out all of the addresses though, but it will not affect your computer in any way.

Angry man

go to tools, then internet options, and delete cookies, delete files, and clear history, you can also put in how many days to keep history
