Need old version of yahoo toolbar!!!?

go into your start and then remove programs...delete everything with yahoo..then go into search ...under files and type yahoo..delete again..restart your computer ..and then reinstall your yahoo

you can restore your computer to before the date you changed the toolbar. i've had to do the same thing before

A lot of people are having problems and don't like the new toolbar. You can uninstall it and go back to the older version. In the upgrade Yahoo! Anti-Spy was replaced with Norton Spyware Check. If you want the older version with Anti-Spy back, click the pencil icon beside the search box on Yahoo! Toolbar, a menu will drop down, click Uninstall and uninstall the new version, then click one of the links below to download Yahoo! Toolbar with Anti-Spy. Click Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > click System Restore and restore back to a point that it worked. I did the exact same thing! You need to do a "system restore". Go to control panel, performance and maintenance, then system restore ... restore computer system to date before you installed the new toolbar (note: how you do a system restore depends on your particular operating system). That should work, but in case it doesn't go to http://majorgeeks.com. In the left- hand column, about half-way down the page, you will find a Google search box. Type in Yahoo! Toolbar and make sure MajorGeeks is checked. That will bring you to the download page for an older version of the Yahoo Toolbar with Antispy. Good Luck!
