How do I install yahoo toolbar for firefox 10?

  • This morning I had Firefox and Yahoo toolbar. I came back from lunch and my Yahoo toolbar disappeared, but was still installed. I could not figure out how to get it back, uninstalled it, then my computer kept acting as though it had a virus. I have uninstalled Firefox, reinstalled Firefox version 10, and now am trying to get Yahoo toolbar again but cannot a download link.

    The download link for the toolbar is at http://us.toolbar.yahoo.com/ Click on Download now or Reinstall. Be careful before and while downloading - watch for any pre-checked boxes which might change your homepage or default search engine. If it does not show immediately after you have downloaded it, refresh the browser by clicking F5 or the incomplete circle with an arrow at the right of the address box. To double-check that the toolbar is installed and turned on, click Alt and V at the same time (for Firefox) to show Fie, Edit, View etc temporarily. In View > Toolbars list, click to put a check mark beside the toolbar. To show the Menu Bar permanently, you click to check that choice too, in View > Toolbars. (Ribbit)
