How do I remove a tool bar from my PC?

How do I remove yahoos crappy tool bar from my PC?

  • It is NOT in add/remove programs. I don't want to turn it off I want it gone! Also how does one remove Yahoo mail. I have a web browser why would anyone want yahoos browser its a waste. All I wanted was the Yahoo Mess. why did it put the rest of the crap on my PC?

Go to your start menu and the SEARCH type in Yahoo! toolbar. a uninstall program should pop up.

go to control panel then add/remove programs and then select the toolbar on the list and remove it - whoops didnt read all your question - if its not in add/remove programs then you may have a problem

Restart the pc and check. If it remains hit tools above and enter manage add ons. Click Y toolbar, then disable and save.

hmmm... I thought it was in the add/remove programs. Maybe try running the install program for messenger again and see if it gives you the option to alter the install (so you can remove that part). I too hate all (spying) toolbars. If I get one I cannot remove, I uninstall whatever installed it.

the yahoo toolbar can be removed by right-clicking somewhere up on your toolbar and unchecking the yahoo bar. idk about the other one

Go into add/remove programs... remove yahoo messenger completely. When you put yahoo messenger back on, do a custom installation, then select only the things you want.

It really should be in the ***/drop programs. You are just looking under the wrong things. Anything yahoo-delete it. If there is no yahoo there like you say in the right upper hand corner there is a search box. Try typing in yahoo and see what you can come up with.
