How do i get rid of my yahoo toolbar?

  • My pc keeps freezing up/ hanging, and the crash analysis says it could be from the yahoo toolbar, so i want to get rid of it , to find out.

    Go to control panel, then remove programs and uninstall it.

Go to the start menu at the bottom left hand corner of screen. Then click on settings and then control panel. Click on add and remove and take it from there...its really easy. Good luck!!

I had the same problem. I went to start/ control panel/add -remove programs and then found the yahoo toolbar and removed it by clicking remove. It solved my problem.

Hi, unistall, either from the control panel install/uninstall or on the toolbar there is a "pencil" on the right hand side of the Y!. On the "pencil's" drop down screen there is the option to uninstall. Try that and hope it works. You may want to re-install after you reboot though.

go to view, toolbars and unclick it, other than that remove yahoo and install it again but refuse the toolbar option
