How do I install yahoo mail back on my toolbar?

Can't log in to Yahoo Mail after installing Yahoo Toolbar.?

  • IE7/XP I installed Yahoo Toolbar but when I try to log in to Yahoo Mail, it says there's an error and puts me back at the login screen. I tried uninstalling the Toolbar via Control Panel but Mail still doesn't work. I installed Firefox without the toolbar and I'm able to log in to my mail so it's not an account problem. I reinstalled the Toolbar and specifically said not to install on Firefox and it didn't fix the problem. My next step is to back up my data, reformat the system, and reinstall XP and all my apps and then restore the data. And yea, I could just use Firefox but I have some stuff that requires IE and it's a pain to remember to use FF when I want to check my mail and IE for the necessary sites.

    Something LIKE this happened to me. If it's what happened to me, then go to tools, Internet options, privacy, sites, then type in www.yahoo.com and click always allow. This should fix your problem. Hope I helped!!!

HI NO dont do that just yet ok try this Download FLOCK browser (Mozilla based) and get the IE tab http://flock.com IE TAB https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1419 I know that there is an answer for you -I gotta look at some notes. I do know that sometimes the toolbars wrap into each other Have you checked to see that the toolbars are not locked and they can move freely uptop, you can move them around. take a look at that and try that Go to View>>toolbars>> Yahoo I will be back, or msg me and I will see what to do-OK Start with the IE TAB this will allow you to use IE in Firefox or flock ( i love this browser -plz just take a look :) ) I use other browsers other then IE for my browsing because I open tabs galore! lol I have a list of IE tabbed browsers - i ahve them all downloaded and it just depends on my mood and what I want when I use them AVANT (can use Yahoo- crashes to muchfor me- sometimes-not sure why) http://avantbrowser.com MAXTHON (2 VERSIONS 1 AND 2 -AKA MYIE2) YAHOO TOOLBAR AND ROBOFORM (must haves!)
