Can you get rid of yahoo toolbar?

How can i get rid of the yahoo toolbar as the yahoo pencil won't remove it nor does the control panel add/remo

  • i am unable to remove the yahoo toolbar through the pencil/edit button from the toolbar itself or from the control panel add/remove programs section. PLEASE HELP because it is making my internet WAY slower!!!

    i don't know exactly but try right clicking on a blank space in your tool bar and selcting the yahoo toolbar. Unselecting it should make it stop functioning. But as to removing it im not sure i never instaled it.

search your computer for yahoo toolbar or find it through windows explorer. when you get the file use the uninstaller! then clean your registry.

Watch out, some of those tool bars are also hosts for spyware and adware. You may have just loaded a program that watches your activities. I did that on my old computer and had to jump through many hoops to get it removed. I ended up dumping my yahoo completely and reloading it (without the tool bar) Good luck.
