Have you set Yahoo as your homepage?

I cant set 'my yahoo' to be my homepage. When I open firefox there's a yahoo page but have to 'sign in'?

  • After I 'sign in and get 'my yahoo' I go to tools/options to set it, but it won't save it. I have to do this each time I open my browser. I have the same problem with the yahoo toolbar. I have to 'sign in' to get to my customized toolbar. Recently I had to reformat my hard drive and reinstall everything. Before this I never had these problems. Help?

  • Answer:

Best thing would be to go to go directly to the Firefox Tools->Options menu and just type in http://my.yahoo.com in the Homepage box and then hit okay. That should force Firefox to recognize My Yahoo! as your preferred home page. You may have a non-standard URL post-login that is giving Firefox problems. As to the toolbar, the customized version does require being logged in.
