How can i delete search history on avg toolbar?

If you go to your explorer: > c: >> Documents and Settings >>> {Your User Name} >>>> Application Data >>>>> AVGTOOLBAR Delete the file called >> COMBOSEARCH Make sure you have closed your Internet Explorer when you delete this file. If you dont it will remember your history and just create a new file. This need to be done every time you want to clear your history. hope this helps...=P

yes you go to tools than click on options it will have a button that says "clear all history" click on it than your good :)

go to internet options from control panel OR go to tools and click on internet options, click on delete browsing history, that should clear your search bar up too,and the next time when you search fr smthn a pop up should ask you if you want the computer to save information such as passwords n blabla, clik on no! hope this helps!=D

I too want to delete the history from my AVG tool bar and will try as advised: c: >> Documents and Settings >>> {Your User Name} >>>> Application Data >>>>> AVGTOOLBAR Can you confirm whether I actually need my username because I'm not sure I have it. Go to tools and internetnet options should say history and delete it also will say if you want to delete history in matter of days click ok when your done.

Go to History at the top, and click Show in sidebar, at the very bottom. Right-Click the day, and hit delete.

Why do you have something to HIDE????????? JK I always try to delete history (cause I have something to hide) anyway I try to just delete it but it doesnt seem to work GOOD QUESTION wish I knew the answer though. OK I will give myself a THUMBS DOWN!!!!!!!!

if you're using firefox, u go to view>sidebar>history or click ctrl+H. it's up to you then what to do.
