How do you delete search results on Yahoo?

How do I clear Yahoo's search results?

  • Thanks for previous answers, but none have worked. What I want to clear is the results that Yahoo actually put onto the page. For example, you type something in the search bar and the results come up, I need (v. urgently) to delete one of the results.

    U can delete the history of search bar on ur homepage (whatever it is either Yahoo! or Google) by following this path. Tools> internet options> content> auto complete> clear forms. To stop the generation of history uncheck the box of forms. To delete address bar history, follow this path. Tools> internet options> general > clear history > set the number of days to zero> ok. U can delete the search history on ur yahoo toolbar this way. click the arrow in the search box. Select options, click clear history. It will solve ur all search related problems.

see in the left of the toolbar, there is a pencil icon over there. click it and select toolbar options. a dialogue box will come. you'll find two options over there. enable auto-complete enable search history uncheck these two boxes. click OK. Congratulations! you've done it!! :-)
