I want to search yahoo member directory for members to chat with and old friends how do i do it? ?

when i follow the directions and click on search member profiles, it takes me right back to my profile. i'd like to search the member directory for new friends and old ones that also use yahoo

Yahoo has revamped the profiles and the member search. Until recently you could enter http://members.yahoo.com/ to get to the membersearch, now you are being redirected to: http://profiles.yahoo.com/intro/?s=209 which asks you to create a new profile. At the bottom left of that page you'll see 2 buttons, 1 takes you to an official blog with explanations why and how the changes were made: http://www.yprofileblog.com/ The other one has tutorials about how the new profile system works: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/profiles/
