How to get on the news?

When I go to Yahoo.com I always get TWO pages: signing into Yahoo and News. How to get rid of NEWS page?

  • Whenever I begin my signon process I get TWO pages (TABS) which tend to slow down my computer. One is the regular signin page for Yahoo...the other is simply a NEWS page. How can I get rid of the News page...STOP it from coming up every time I begin the signin process, without having to DELETE the tab each time? It is time and processor consuming! Thanks..~K~

    Try disabling the Tabbed Browsing. To do this click on the Tools menu at the top of the browser screen and select Internet Options. Under the General tab look down to the Tabs section and click on the Settings button. In the Tabbed Browsing Settings box uncheck the box next to the Enable Tabbed Browsing option and then click OK. Click OK again to close out Internet Options. Last of all close all of the browser windows you have open and then restart Internet Explorer.
