How to i get my website listed in yahoo search engine?

i have the website hosted. what content do i need to add so it comes up in yahoo search. currently it will not display even when i type the url in the search box.

first, you need to submit your site to yahoo, you can do it at : http://search.yahoo.com/info/submit.html It will take several days. it is also possible that yahoo don't collect your web site after you submit, you can poblish some link at other site such as some forum, so that yahoo spider can be led to your website. Second, in order to make the yahoo spider collect your more url, you'd better built a sitemap.txt file in your website, you can find some tools to help you make this file and upload it to your website. hope it is helpful to you.
