How do you erase history off your computer?

okayy i went on myspace and i need to erase the history..i erased it from like the internet history part like where my email is and all that stuff..but how do you erase the cookies and the history from the hard drive?

okay what kind of computer do u have? Go to start, then go to (RUN). Then type in COOKIES and delete all the files on there EXCEPT FOR THE INDEX U CANNOT DELETE THAT BUT IDK Y! Then go to start again....go to run....then type in PREFETCH and delete the files in there too. Then lastly, you can do a disk cleanup which you go to start.....disk cleanup and delete everything....hope that helped!!!!!
