How do I search through my yahoo mail?

This is the most frustrating feature in Yahoo and the only reason why Im thinking of leaving. The search feature does not work. It doesnt search for text or sender. I hardly ever get any results ...I have to manually search through my mail to find anything. In gmail this is a breeze. ive used Yahoo for 10 years so I have alot of mail, and I dont want to switch but this is ridiculous. Does anyone else have this problem, or is it just in my mail box?

Yahoo! Mail has a powerful search engine included that you can use to look for emails. Search for Messages in Yahoo! Mail To find mail in Yahoo!
