How to clean my Yahoo web searches?

I have Yahoo as my home page, and I was wondering how you clear the "web Search" box of past searches.

  • I right click on the box and it shows all of the images, web or video searches that I have done.

  • Answer:

**Removal of items on your search bar** On the right side of the bar before you get to the web search button click on the bar (you may have to click it a few times) will open a drop down box that will bring you at the front of items you searched for. Place your mouse pointer over the first item and you will see it highlight. Do not click the item just leave your mouse where it is and hit the delete button on your keyboard. The item will vanish and the next will take its place and become highlighted. Just keep hitting the delete button and watch them go away. This will work for any browser.

Other answers

Just highlight the first one, press Delete -- and hold it down! It will erase each item as it is highlighted. If you want to delete only some of them, highlight them one at a time and delete them. Or, if you want to clear ALL search lists, etc., in Explorer, go to Tools > Internet Options > Content > AutoComplete Forms and choose Clear all Forms there. It will take some time! You can also reset your options there so AutoComplete will not happen anymore if you don't want it to. Hope this helps!
