My browser history won't delete, why?

How to delete web history on browser?

  • Ok So I use Mozilla Firefox and I know how to delete my history but I googled porn, yes I know.. anyways even when I delete my history if I go up to my browser bar and type google it shows everything that i've googled, doesn't make sense to me since I deleted my history. I just don't want a friend to ask if they can use my computer for a minute and see that, it would make things awkward lol. Please give me an answer!!!!!!!! Thanks =]

    Delete Browser History 1. Click Start on the desktop. 2. Go to Settings. 3. Click Control Panel. 4. Double-click Internet Options. 5. Make sure the General tab is selected. 6. Click Clear History in the History box. 7. Click OK when it asks if you want to delete all items in your history folder. 8. Click OK at the bottom of the General box to exit. Firefox users: can clear their history by clicking the "Tools" menu, "Options", clicking the "Privacy" button, and under "History" click the "Clear" or "Clear Now" button. OR Press CTRL + Shift + DEL to open the Clear Data Window. In Firefox, if you want to delete an individual entry from the History, just highlight it (either in the History sidebar or in the address bar drop-down) and press Shift+Delete. To delete Google history, use one of the following sources: http://www.google.com/support/websearch/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=465 (for Address Bar, Google Toolbar, and Google search box) http://ask-leo.com/how_do_i_delete_history_items_from_my_google_tool_bar.html (also for all three)

To clear your history in the Google search bar, you: 1. Click the Firefox tools menu, or press ALT-T on your computer. 2. Select Clear Recent History. 3. Click the drop down next to Time range to clear and select how much history you want to clear. 4. Click the drop down next to Details. 5.
