How to remove double spacing in Firefox?

Remove Bing and Search Helper from Firefox 3.6.8?

  • How, to remove these unauthorized add-ons from Firefox 3.6.8? Is there software that will strip Bing from a Win7 computer? Is there a new version of FireFox coming to to remove this newest browser infection. I have both of these add on disabled, uninstall is grayed out and the Bing toolbar keeps reappearing... The Toolbar does not appear in the program list to uninstall, need some help on this one. I run DDS and it shows i have the Bing tool bar installed but can not find a way to eliminate this troublesome infection of Firefox. How can I remove this search engine tool bar? I also see i have A Microsoft Search Enhancement Pack that I had not seen earlier, Seaport .exe I might be mistaken, and not noticed this earlier, but looking carefully for Bing may have brought it to my attention.   • Answer:

    At "about:support" URL (without quotes), find the id of the toolbar Add-on. Then in Profile folder/extensions/ directory , delete the folder named as the id of the toolbar, restart Firefox. If that works, then restart computer to complete. An important step that "saves" all the changes.
