How do I clear the Yahoo Search window history to where it doesn't automatically pop up with past searches?

Go to TOOLS, click on internet options, click on erase History. It will inquire whether you want to earse or not, click on Yes, and you've done it.

In Internet Explorer, click 'Tools' up the top of the page, when the pop down box appears click 'Internet Options' in the window that comes up there shold be a section called 'Browsing History', you can then select to delete the browsing history, this will include the past searches, tempoary files, pages visited, cookies, passwords, and web form information.
