How do I remove the yahoo taskbar?

How to remove Yahoo! Search from Taskbar?

I have in the bottom right hand corner of the taskbar (the notification area) a Yahoo! Search bar. Photo here: http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y163/Katsumoto_osaka/CulpritYahooSearch.jpg I have looked for it in Program and Features, which is in the control panel, and was unable to find any program that logically didn't belong or could be the search bar. Does anybody know how to remove this search bar as it does take up valuable space on my taskbar.

I removed it and Yahoo instant messaging along with Microsoft instant messaging from the Add/Remove area of the control panel. You don't need it for computer functionality and like you said, it takes up space and memory if your computer is like mine, old and not ready to spend for MS 7 or whatever they say you should have.
