How to delete old web search entries reappearing in yahoo search bar at the bottom of my screen?

Every time I put in the letter M for example all old search entries reappear that started with the letter M. How do I delete these old entries so they dont reappear everytime I try to search using yahoo. Appreciate your help, Thanks

Click on tools and delete browsing history. That's what I do anyway, hope that's what you mean as I'm not really very computer savvy.
change your autocomplete settings. I can't remember how, look up on the internet 'autocomplete'...

to delete an individual search listing (for example with M) type M and highlight the search in the list, hold CTRL and delete. to delete all of them go to tools, internet options, clear temp. files, yes, OK.
