What has happened to Yahoo Audio Search?

What happened to the area of Yahoo TV where you could search for listings?

  • When you could search for TV listings, it made it easy to type in movies and TV shows to see when they would be airing in the next 2 weeks. Now, Yahoo TV is about as helpful as a regular TV, because you have to go through the listings manually. Sometimes, you have no idea what channel the program you want to see is on, so the new Beta version without the search option pretty much defeats the purpose. Sorry for ranting, but could anyone tell me if it's gone for good, or if it's still there and I'm just not looking in the right place? I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

    Good question - when I finally stumbled upon the listings, they contained the wrong programing. I already had set up a My Yahoo! TV listing and that worked the standard way. Yahoo! is trying a lot of "BETA" stuff and it would be very helpful if they at gave users a heads-up and clear details about any changes. I suspect Yahoo! is suffering from a labor shortage and probably is having difficulty getting the talent they need before Google gets to it first.
