I have submitted a site to Yahoo. It is listed on Yahoo.com but not on Yahoo.co.uk. How to get a uk listing?

I submitted the site I built for a friend 9 months ago and although the Yahoo.com search engine lists the site prominently, the uk search engine does not list it at all despite my resubmitting it from time to time. I have tried to contact Yahoo.co.uk but cannot get a reply. Site is http://rholdcroft.co.uk. Any help would be welcome, thanks.

Might try submitting into the Yahoo Local for UK. http://uk.local.yahoo.com/ I would suggest reading this Yahoo document about listing your site. It is very specific about how to list it in the right category. Like whether it's commercial or non-commercial. http://uk.docs.yahoo.com/info/appropriate.html Also, might find some tips on Yahoo Site Explorer: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/search/siteexplorer/

Thanks for the answer. However, I have discovered having tried your suggestions, that all Yahoo Webmaster tools in the UK are now defunct. You can only submit a site to local listings in US Yahoo [you have to tell them which US state your site refers to!] and all operations regarding submissions to Yahoo are now handled by BING! in the UK See http://www.bing.com/webmaster/?rfp=1#/Home/ Thanks again for the info but for anyone else interested, use the above link but only if you own the website...
