How to search emails from a particular contact around few years back?

I want to search a mail few years back from a particular contact. How to achieve the same, since am not able to search with the particular option

Yahoo has the option to sort your email according to sender, date, subject, attachment, flag and read emails You just have to click 'From' above the senders name then the list sorts acc. to sender's name Best of luck !!!
