Why do i get redirected to yahoo?

Why is it everytime I try to sign in to Hotmail or forums that I get redirected to Yahoo Search?

  • I find this strange..Whenever I try to sign in to different websites & pages including my Hotmail-MSN address it re-directs to me Yahoo search page with a list of information about hotmail and stuff..Also sometimes I get this messaging stating that DSN is unavailable and thus my PC freezes.Can these 2 issues be linked with the redirection? cannot be viruse's I dont think because Norton doesnt say anything..Also when I unplug my router & then plug it again it starts to work for a while..So any ideas folks? thanks!

    If you're typing the web address in the address bar and are being redirected, disconnect your computer from the internet. Clear your cookies, history, etc. Run a virus and malware scan. Do a search for malwarebytes or avast if you don't have antivirus or a malware scanner. If these scans find nothing, disk clean up and defrag.
