How can I delete the drop down history in the search field?

How do you delete the history that comes down in the drop box?

  • You know the little drop box next to the search bar? Well i know how to delete the regular history by pressing Ctrl+H , but i need the delete the history up next to the search bar. I haven't been going on 2 websites i shouldn't, but my mom is really nosy and if she finds something for her she'll open it! And I just did some online shopping the other day, I can't figure out how to delete the history! Please help! Thank you and keep all negative comments to yourself.

    Try to do the following: close all browser windows, then open a new one. Click on tools at the top of your screen, go to internet options. In the drop down menu go to "temporary internet files", delete all cookies and other temp-files.
