How to put yahoo search back on my home page?

How do I delete the search sites from the search window in yahoo home page?

  • A gentleman in my office search for porn sites on my yahoo home page. Now when my son come to my office and gets on line he sees all the porn sites he searched in. How do I remove the search history...not in the tool bar...but on the website home page itself?

  • Answer:

    **Removal of items on your search bar** On the right side of the bar before you get to the web search button click on the bar (you may have to click it a few times) will open a drop down box that will bring you at the front of items you searched for. Place your mouse pointer over the first item and you will see it highlight. Do not click the item just leave your mouse where it is and hit the delete button on your keyboard. The item will vanish and the next will take its place and become highlighted. Just keep hitting the delete button and watch them go away. This will work for any browser.

One of two things: 1. Go to tools>internet options>delete cookies and clear history. 2. On your IE toolbar click on the green arrow circle next to 'search' and 'favorites'. Your history should pop up. Highlight the listing you want removed by dragging the mouse on top of it, right click, select delete and it should delete it. Good Luck! MJ

As Yahoo is a web based program, cleaning your internet history and temporary files should also clear it. You do that by opening up your internet explorer, then choosing tools from the top menu, then Internet Options, then push the clear History button and clear temporary files button, and while you in there set it to remember it for 0 days that way it will delete them quickly.
