How to delete cookies maually?

How do I delete my cookies?

  • my husband showed me once that you can delete your cookies and it won't show what you put into the search. Now I need to delete them but everytime I push delete you can still see what I have searched. What am I doing wrong. Please help

    There should be a "Tools" button towards the top of your browser page; up near the "Minimize/Restore/Close" buttons. If you click the downward arrow, it should give you the option to "Delete Browsing History" and when you click on that it'll prompt you to say what exactly you want to delete and "Cookies" should be one of the options.

from your browser, select Tools Select Internet Options Select Browsing History delete the temporary files, cookies, history...what ever you want. the delete history option will get rid of your searches. good luck :)

What program are you running? If it's Windows XP, go to your control panel, click on Internet Options, and a box should come up where you can click to delete history, cookies, etc.

You need to delete history too. You should also delete your temporary files. Every web site you go to, your PC downloads all the graphics and stores it as a temporary file. If you don't clean that up you fill your hard drive with a bunch of crap.

If you are using Internet Explorer go to tools, then Internet Options, look under the general tab and you will see browsing history. If you want to look and see what you are deleting click on settings then view files, if not just click delete and they are gone. Hope this helps.
