Why do I have incomplete results with Yahoo mail search?

Yahoo mail search limits all results to 2008 even search params are not limited. Matching emails b4 '08 exist.?

• I have have been using Yahoo mail search on my email account and it used to give me all the past e-mails that I have been searching for, since the account was started several years ago. In my searches in the past few months, however, even if I don't put any parameter restrictions in advanced search and even place the exact search term, the results don't return with any matches before 2008. When I manually scroll through the emails, however, I do find that matches exist before 2008 (because these are crucial info that I remember exist -- like serial numbers for purchased software, etc.). I looked at all the settings and nothing says to ignore search matches before 2008. How can I get Yahoo mail search to search for everything again? I have worked on this for hours and I can't get it to search for earlier e-mails.
