How do I clear out my web search?

How can you clear the history of search from yahoo search web.?

    U can delete the history of search bar on ur homepage (whatever it is either Yahoo! or Google) by following this path. Tools> internet options> content> auto complete> clear forms. To stop the generation of history uncheck the box of forms. To delete address bar history, follow this path. Tools> internet options> general > clear history > set the number of days to zero> ok. U can delete the search history on ur yahoo toolbar this way. click the arrow in the search box. Select options, click clear history. Follow this path also. Pencil> toolbar options> uncheck the boxes of enable auto complete and enable history> ok. It will solve ur all search related problems.

if it is the yahoo toolbar ur talking about click the pencil in the drop down menu click clear recent searches thats all

If you are using IE you can type the search in you want to delete, highlight the prefil that comes up, and press delete or backspace. That deletes it. IE only though.

All you need to do is press the delete key and use that to delete whatever sites you don't want to keep.

this only works if you have that thing that remembers what you type. and if you start to type the words it just fills in the rest. well you click on the empty search space and then all your type searches come up. then you hit the delete button [its the one with insert, home, page up and down, and end] and then delete all your searches one by one.
