How do I delete internet history?

  • I've tried the tools>internet options>delete>history thing. But it only deletes the drop down menu of sites when I go to the url bar. How do I delete the web history that comes up when I click "history?"

    Ha, don't want to know what you're doing... but just get Firefox... lot easier to work with that browser!

Download a program called CCleaner. It will erase all history of internet activity securely and confidentially. I never turn my computer off without running it, first.

When you click history,The only way to delete them is to individually right click each of them and click on 'delete'.

i usually go to control panel then internet options then under browsing history hit delete. then when the delete panel pops up hit delete history. then if you want to see if everything you wanted to delete is deleted then do everything over again but instead of hitting delete at the delete panel right next to it, it says settings hit that and then hit view files and if the stuff you want still didnt delete then highlight what you want deleted, right click and then hit delete. hope that helps
