How do i erase history in my address bar?

i dont care if it erases all of the history.i dont like having every website that ive visited come up.can i just erase all of the history?

Answer:
At the top on the left side of the page click on the tab that says Tools. Click on delete browsing history.This will then allow you to choose what to delete or you may click on delete at the bottom left corner. Internet Explorer 7 version.

click on Tools at the top then go down to Internet Options and click on the bottom that says Delete Files Delete Cookies and Clear History. If you have the new Internet explorer 7 click on tools at the top then go down to Internet Options and click on the Delete Button then click on Delete All
