How do I clear Yahoo search of old searches?

How do I get old searches off my yahoo search? If i type a letter old searches come up in the box.?

    Assuming you are using Internet Explorer Click on Tools at top of screen Select Options from the menu Click on the button "Clear History" You can also delete the Temporary Internet files as well.

They way I go in to clear them is by going to the top of your screen and looking for the word tools which should be next to favorites and click on that,then go all the way down to the bottom and click on internet options then you will see where it says history and just click on where it says clear history and it should clear it out for you!...

Go to you Start menu, click on control panel and then click on internet options. Then Delete history. That should do it.

go to options and disable the autocomplete

right click on your internet explorer icon on your desktop, goto properties, in the general tab, delete cookies, all offline content and clear history, then click on the content tab up top and click your auto complete, clear forms and passwords, uncheck the checkmarks ( use in web forms n web addresses). this will prevent explorer from finishing your typing for you. good luck
