How can I clear search history of Yahoo?

How can i clear my search history on yahoo answers?

• every time i type in a letter on search for question it comes up with all my old questions i've searched for. how do you get rid of them? I have a mac computer and I've tried to get the history away by pressing the delete button, but it doesn't work!

  Firefox Open the Firefox browser. Click "Tools" at the top of the browser window. Choose "Clear Private Data" to open a dialogue window. Check "Browsing History'' and "Saved Form and Search History'' on the list. Click "Clear Private Data Now". Safari Open the Safari browser. Click "Safari" at the top of your computer screen to open a drop-down menu. Select "Preferences" from the menu to open the preferences pane. Click "Auto fill" in the preferences window. Click "Edit" in the "Other Forms" section. Find the name of the search engine(s) you use in the list of Auto fill sites. Select the search engine's name (e.g. Google.com) and click "Remove". Click "Done" to finish and exit the preferences window. IE8 Go to Tools Delete Browsing History. Also in IE8 you can enable the InPrivate browsing mode which helps prevent your browsing history, temporary Internet files, form data, cookies, and usernames and passwords from being retained by the browser. Click ‘Safety’ and choose "InPrivate Browsing". IE7 etc: Menu bar - Tools - Internet Options - Browsing History - Delete - Delete all (or chose what you want to delete)
