Please? Can you help teach me how I can erase the rather steamy and erotic websites I've been typing in my server's Search box? I'm sharing this computer to other members of my family..... and whenever a family member types something in the Search box, the X-rated websites I have previously typed in the box automatically APPEAR!!!!! It is embarassing!!!!! How can I delete those sites I have previously typed in the Search box so that my family does not get shocked and surprised by the names of those hot websites suddenly appearing in the Search box????? It's sooooo embarassing!!!!!!!!

Answer:
wut have u been looking at!? well dont worry, i had the SAME problem, bcuz HORMONES make us curious, and i found out how to delete them. just... 1. double click the empty search box. 2. u will see the names of all the things that ppl have searched at ur computer. 3. go down to highlight the thing that u want to get rid of. 4. then look to the right of ur keyboard, and look 4 where it sayz DELETE. 5. then keep the name of the thing that u wanna get rid of HIGHLIGHTED, and click DELETE. ok so i hope i helped u, and if u have any more questionz about this, u can e-mail it to me, at my page where it sayz contact chris brown mini-me! just remember, us guyz have FANTASIES, and we have to stick together.

go to the search bar, double-click bringing up the box that shows your search, then just highlight and hit the delete button.

Internet Explorer Tools > Internet Options > Content Tab > Auto Complete Button > Clear Forms and Web Addresses. (this clears search queries) Clear you history on General Tab too. (This only clears history of web addresses not search queries) (So all these people that just tell you to clear history probably wonder why they keep getting caught, or they really didn't properly understand your question.)

i can imagine your embarassment. you have to disable the autocomplete function. you can find it in your browser settings. not the history, that doesn't clear the search bar you non-geeks!
