How to delete web search in yahoo on a mac?

How to delete yahoo search words from web search box?

  • Yahoo web search box keeps remembering all of the words I searched. How can I delete some of the words from this list without deleting the history of web pages or cookies. Only the search words to be deleted.

In Internet Explorer, go to Tools > Internet Options >Click the "Content" tab > Click "Autocomplete" > Click "Clear forms" or uncheck the box near "Forms." In Firefox (2.0), go to Tools >Options >'Privacy' tab >Under Private data.. click 'Clear now' or click "Settings" and check the box near "Saved Form information" > Ok.

You can put in a letter the search box or if there is a little arrow on the corner of your box you can click on the arrow this will bring up the searched words. Simply right click on the word or words and scroll down to delete or hightlight the words that have been searched and press the delete key.
