Why is Yahoo home page date always wrong?

Why won't my yahoo home page update. my page has the date March 13! Why won't it update?

  • Answer:

Sometimes a browser will "cache" (save) your page, and even a Reload won't always work. Try pressing Ctrl and hitting F5 at the same time. This will force most browsers to ignore any cached pages, and go to the server for a fresh copy. Also, read up on how HTTP and browsers work to deliver content, including especially cacheing.

You should just be able to click your browsers refresh button. If that isn't working, you may need to repair your web browser software, or uninstall/reinstall it. The best solution if you current browsers refresh button isn't working, is to install a new browser. The best one I have found is Mozilla Firefox at http://www.mozilla.com
