It depends. There are nationalized banks (PNB, SBI or the like) and the new generation banks (ICICI,HDFC etc). It depends on the kind of business you want to do. If you want to open a savings account, put some money and just use the ATM for withdrawing, may the new generation banks are just fine. They are easy to deal with. If you want to make a life time investment then go for a nationalized bank. They are secure and guaranteed by the Union Govt. You would need to find out which is your bank, based on the aforesaid. Also, you may talk to the people around to know more about the +/- of the bank that is the closest. These days you can use any bank's ATM for 5 times in a month without paying service charges.
