I want to start a pharmacy in chennai what is the amount needed?

i am a nri and i want to open one medical shop i am a registered pharmacist with tamil nadu pharmacy council . can any one suggest how much principle amount needed for that. preferable city chennai or trichy

Hi, investment required to open medical shop depends on the area, if have an investment of rs. 15 - 20 lakhs you can open the shop in prime areas and the business will be good inspite of competition, how ever if your capital is less than 10 lakhs you can open the shop in developing areas away from the city. i have a friend who started with one shop on my advice has grown to 4 shops in the city. I wish you all success.
