  Anup, What's your qualification and experience; you must have mentioned that in your question - then make be I would have been able to give you a proper answer. Now, I am giving you a generalized opinion / idea about Singapore openings. I don't think Placement consultancy can help you much in this regard. Job openings in Singapore are limited to Singapore Citizens and Singapore PR's (Permanent Resident); if you have a niche skill then companies may recruit you. Fields like Human Resource, Marketing, IT - Java developers, testing engg etc; does not lie in that category ... Why simply because - we have so many people who have studied in Singapore searching for jobs so it is very unlikely that a company will give that job to a foreigner. I am telling this OUT OF MY OWN EXPERIENCE. I was working as a HR Executive and wanted to work and live in SG for some time; I even visited SG last year (Dec 2008) and was there for about a month's time ... I couldn't find a suitable job (even a low paying HR job) while I was there. I had to return empty-handed in 23 days. So, it is advisable that you continue with your work here. OR if you are DESPERATE to Work in SG then there are two ways CHOICE A: ======== Do some short time courses in SG related to your field (Human Resource like the ones with SHRI, Singapore or if IT then from training institutes) -- You will have 5 to 6 months time to complete the course .... during which you can try for some jobs. May be they (training institutes) will provide some job opportunities. CHOICE B: ======== Do a full time course in Management from National University of Singapore or in Nanyang Technical University -- Why these two institutes because once when you complete the course .... you will automatically get a PR (Permanent Resident) status then job searching will be more easy for you. TIP === If possible also learn some basic Chinese; if you know English, Chinese and Tamil then definitely this is a added advantage to you.
