TNEB disconnected my electricity virtually.?

  • Hi, I live in Medavakkam Chennai. I recentrly moved to a flat on rent. I seen the electricity connection is there and working fine. After september usage i wanted to pay bill online but it says this service is disconnected from 31st July. So in their DB they have my connection disconneted while i can actually use the electricty. I want to pay my bills but not sure how to tackle this problem. Can i keep using this way? What is the procedure i can get my connection shown as active/live and pay bill online?

  • Answer:

    Go to your respective EB office and inquire about this because sometimes the online facility is not fully updated and will show erroneous data. When I logged in with my EB card number; it showed me some other name and EB cost as 40 Rs and I when directly to office they told me there might be some issues and asked to pay directly. So, better visit once and find out what's the issue.
