Is nursing harder than engineering?

Nursing or Engineering???

• I'm currently in high school/ college [high school senior and attending college]. I had my mind set on being a nurse for a while and am interning at a nursing home but the more I intern the more I don't like the idea of being a nurse. Bed bath and changing pts doesn't seem like something I want to do for the rest of my life. and I don't like the idea that I will ALWAYS be beneath the doctor. I would go to medical school but I don't want to spend the next 12 years of my life in school. So now I'm thinking of doing engineering. I like that I can work my way up the latter with education and experience and the idea that I can travel all around the world. [RNs get paid the most in the US so it wouldn't be practical to leave] I'm currently taking AP statistics and know that I would have to get into Calculus and advanced math if i were to choose Engineering.... but I'd rather study math equations then write papers... ay I've never taken physics so I don't know how well I would do..HELP

  I was in nursing school. While you are in school, yeah you do need to do a lot of bed side baths, linen changes, cathethers--all kinds of stuff. But once you're done, the lvn is the first below an registered nurse, and then don't forget the cna. Usually the cna's or the lvn's are the ones that do the dirty work and the rn's are the ones that distribute the meds, etc. Have you ever considered becoming a physicians assistant or a nurse practioner? I can't really comment on engineering...but I hope this helped at least a little.
