Can we learn anything about sustainability by studying natural cycles?

What foreign language should I learn? How long would it take on average if studying abroad?

  • I want to learn a foreign language. I already have my heart set on a specific language, but I was also thinking about learning another language afterwards. Which language should I learn and why? I understand that the answer to my next question will vary significantly by different factors, but on average how long would it take to become advanced (or speak w/o much difficulty) if studying abroad where there's hardly anyone there that speaks your language? And if there is more than one country that speaks that language (e.g. Spanish, Portuguese...etc), which country in your opinion should I go to learn it? Thanks in advance :) I already speak English and Japanese fluently.

  • Answer:

well if you're already fluent in japanese, then your next language should obviously be korean!! they are both similar in some ways, but I think korean is much easier, being a fluent korean speaker. It also depends on what you want to do after college ( I don't know how old you are), but if you want to go towards business, maybe you should try learning Chinese. If you want to learn a language that is just convenient, I suggest Spanish or Portuguese. Like you said, there are many languages you can choose from, but from personal opinion, I think you should learn KOrean :)
