Mathematics major vs mathematics degree?

Degree courses that involve mathematics?

  • hi there. can comeone help me please? i need to choose a course but i dont have any idea of courses to take that involves mathematics. degree of mathematics means that i can only either teach/lecture or do research in the future or as a profession. does anybody has idea of what courses involves ALOT of mathematics? thanks.

    Engineering! There are many fields within engineering that you can choose from. Probably if you want more mathematics, electrical engineering might be for you. They all have quite a bit of math beyond calculus, but electrical engineering seems to have the most. I'm mechanical, but I had to take a basic electrical engineering class. It involved setting up and solving differential equation with imaginary numbers. Fun! All engineering will have a lot of math.
