How much study for GATE CS?

• I am from computer science field I have a dream of doing mtech from iit powai or iisc?. I am preparing for gate 2010. How much study per day should be enough?. Currently i am able to manage 4-5 hours per day without getting burdened. More than that i start feeling overloaded. Is 4-5 hours per day enough or should i put in more?

  Hi 4-5 hours per day is enough. After that allocate some time for recollect what u study. That is Good and I have following suggestion for you. 1. Bring previous year question papers (its available very easily in the market). 2. Start back study (i.e. pick up question and find the solution) I personally believe if you practice to solve all the question from the previous asked (at least 6-8 year) you can definitely qualify the exam. 3. Another important fact is: do not answer wrong during the examination even your total score is only 35 to 45 % (mostly people could not qualify exam because they attempt to answer wrong question). 4. Keep in mind, most of the time negative marking is only responsible to the failure. 5. Join the GATE 2010 discussion community, ask your doubts and get answer.
