How much a student can earn in London?

  • After 5 months I will be a Graduate in Commerce(Honors). I'm planning to go aboard (London) for MBA degree. So I have few questions, if u answer this it would be very appreciated. Is it possible to do job along with MBA? How much pound/hour I can earn without MBA and after MBA? Government does not allow more than 20hrs a week to a student, but some do even 40hrs, is it right? How much hours/week I can work? I can do anything for earning money not illegally. How much tax is taken by the government? I heard, most of the students were going aboard. Is it difficult now to get a job? How much expenses occur if a person leaving alone in a room and bearing all expenses of his own? decent answer please...

    Hi Is it possible to do job along with MBA? 20 hr/week is allowed How much pound/hour I can earn without MBA and after MBA? your minimum wage will be 6 pounds/hour. After MBA its your skill set that will fetch you job. Its little difficult to get job for MBA graduates. Yes ofcourse , you are going abroad to study and improve your skill sets. How much expenses occur if a person leaving alone in a room and bearing all expenses of his own? 600 pounds/month in london and 300 - 500 pounds /month in rest of england. Hope i Cleared most of your doubts. Though your intension is to get settled in UK its not just a matter like studying a course will do. You have to put enormous effort to get the skill sets friend. Some students do, indeed work 40 hours, but they are then kicked off their course and out of the country with a ban of 10 years before they are allowed to return. Ary you intending to be a student or to work? If your intention is to work then you are entering the country illegally. I said people get kicked out but you can actually go to prison. A job will pay you about £6.00 an hour and you pay 20% tax. Basically you cannot legally earn enough money to cover your travelling expenses.

Yes you have to work there during studies because its too expensive in London to survive. 20hr has allotted by UK government for international student, if you work more then allotted time the may send you back to your country by giving few warnings. I don't don't exactly about the tax deduction but they do deduct. I think the total expense which include: fees+accommodation+transportation+food = 15000 GBP to 20000 GBP. Yes due European Union in power they have increase job quota Europe 95% and rest of the world 5% only, mean rest of the world having job problem .

Hello, I do not recommend London, because the course fee has been increased THREE times!! The education in Norway, Sweden, Finland is completely FREE for Indians!! For studying abroad, the best country should be the one which is developed country + focuses on research + education + health etc. I believe Norway is the best for study, because Norway University are among the best in world (ever heard Nobel Prize, its given by Norway Universities). You should check out universities @ Norway, Sweden or Finland, as the education is free for International Students like from India. So this would save you from spending lots of money or getting trapped with Education Loan. Just compare it with 25 lakhs tuition fee required to do masters in Australia. So you save 25 lakhs!! Again, do check the official websites, like for Norway it is http://www.studyinnorway.no and search for others. You could have saved a lot of money by doing Bachelors also from Europe. Studies in Europe are way too easy as compared to India. For example, exam answer sheet is of 4 pages only, instead of 32 pages. Professors expect you to write as briefly as possible, and ask 4 question in each exam only. Regards, Ritesh
