Is MS in Mechanical engineering good?

Can a person with B.E. Mechanical Engineering degree from India get his MS/ MBA in USA?

• Someone I know has got his B.E.Mechanical Engineering degree in India. But if he's coming here in USA ( not on H1 visa or anything, he's gonna come after his marriage) can he still get his MS or MBA in Mechanical Engineering in USA? If you know how many years it will take or any other information please let me know and help me out. Thank you so much

  If his bachelor's degree was from a 4-year undergraduate program, he should have no problem applying to a master's program in engineering or an MBA program in the U.S. However, if it was a 3 year undergraduate program, the American universities may want him to do one more year so that he has the equivalent of an American degree. He'll have to check with the specific schools he's interested in to be sure. In the U.S., master's degrees of any kind (that includes MS and MBA) normally take 2 years to complete, assuming the student is enrolled full time.
